i tested out the studio dre beats at the mall the other day.
surprisingly, they had very good sound quality. a good pair of headphones will make light tunes sound heavy and heavy tunes sound even heavier. they did just that. could’ve been a bit better, but what can you really expect from a product so commercialized? in any case, i considered stopping home and getting some money to purchase a pair (these things are better than my turtle beach gaming headset) until my eyes hit the price tag… $300.
yep, nope.
verdict: somewhat solid headphones, but way overpriced. the extra money you’re paying just goes to the brand name. music is many things, but one thing i’d rather not have it become is a fashion statement.
